Is there a reason the god damn trains in my town hold their horns for so god damn long at 3 in the morning?
Main Post:
A lot of trains come through my town every day, and during the day they hardly honk their horns, and if they do it is quick and only once or twice. But holy fuck come 3 am, they have to hold the horn down for 30 seconds, then for another 30 seconds right after. It wakes me up every god damn night and I feel like it's really unnecessary, is there any real reason why they would do this besides to be assholes? I mean there is very little traffic at this time of night. Just doesn't make sense. /rant

They're harder to see, so the audible warning has to be made more obvious to account for the increased distance that it has to serve its purpose for. It's a safety issue. They aren't being assholes, they just really, really, really don't want to kill someone. I've lived near trains in a couple towns for a few years now, and it's just something you have to get used to.

I'm running a one shot this weekend about a frost giant and a young white dragon that destroyed a town. The town is now offering a bounty on said giant and his dragon. I was thinking he destroyed the temple in the town and stole a relic but whose temple was it?
